    Glen Thompson currently offers general property inspection services, including thorough inspections of roofing, foundations, plumbing, electrical and other major aspects of a home’s condition. He also provides pest inspections to check for evidence of termites and other harmful pests.

  • Q: DO I REALLY NEED TO HAVE A HOME INSPECTION?

    Even if the house you are thinking of buying is relatively new, you should still have a home inspection done. Pests, such as termites, can strike even newer homes and the damage they cause can happen fast. Additionally, if you will be buying your home using a bank or another lending institution, they will probably require a thorough inspection of any home you are considering before agreeing to process the loan. Different banks have different requirements for loan approval.

  • Q: CAN I CHECK FOR TERMITES MYSELF?

    Unfortunately, unless you are trained to notice the first signs of an early termite infestation, you might miss the warnings that you are infested until things are too far gone and there is already property damage. It is advisable to have professional building inspections done vs doing it yourself unless you are trained in pest inspections.
